We have made the necessary modifications to the new factory Ford GT grille for this conversion, installed the Pony and Fog Lights, made the appropriate height adjustments and provided the necessary wiring harness (which requires no cutting or splicing) and the switch.
A detailed instruction manual gives complete installation instructions (with pictures and template) including provisions for hood clearance/closure problems and fitment of the larger GT grille to the smaller V6 bumper cover.
Please understand that while we do not disagree with methods used by other sellers, we do feel we have a better approach to addressing the hood chafing issue and grille fitment. Rather than using a new hood latch and changing bumpers, we give instructions on how to easily lower the fan cowl. This allows the hood to stay aligned with the fenders vs. raising the hood with taller bumpers. By making several small modifications to the bumper cover, the grille fits more flush with the grille surround and corresponding bumper cover.
Our grille looks factory when installed. Other sellers expect you to MUSCLE the larger grille into the smaller opening resulting in, at best, a height difference, and the inability to sit flush with the bumper cover.
Competitors may question our installation methods; however, we have attempted countless installations utilizing other methods with only sub-par results at best. Just remember… the round peg never fits in the square hole correctly.
You DO NOT need to remove the front bumper cover to complete this installation!

Now, Lets Talk Switches…
Option 1. This is the standard wiring harness and switch arrangement that is included for the $ 374.00 Buy It Now price. (+ $24 S/H) = $398.00 DELIVERED with INSURANCE.
The kit includes a small round "OE type" rocker switch that flush mounts next to the V6 factory light switch (as can be seen in the picture). The switch has an ON/OFF indicator to denote when the fog lights are on. The switch is easily installed using the instructions and diagrams provided. This switch arrangement satisfies the overwhelming majority of retail customers and Ford dealerships that we have sold too and it requires no cutting or splicing into your factory wiring harness. It also allows you to save money by not requiring you to purchase the GT style “pull out” light switch. You already have a light switch, just add our rocker switch.
Option 2. We have had numerous customers specifically request the fog lights be wired with the factory GT style switch. Unfortunately this is not as simple as exchanging the V6 light switch with the GT light switch, as the smart junction box and fuse box do not accept a plug and play wiring harness. We are aware of other seller’s claims that the GT switch will not work with the V6. Don't let their inability to solve the wiring issue prevent you from making an educated decision. During several days of extensive R&D we were able to develop a wiring harness that worked flawlessly with the factory GT style switch and to date have produced numerous units without a problem. (One of which is on the General Manager's personal demo at a large Ford dealership). We even go so far as to duplicate the factory GT switch operation and have the indicator light illuminate when the fog lights are on.
The GT switch, alternate wiring harness and instructions are an additional $89.00 (please note this option and include the extra $89 when making payment).
Please remember to specify which switch option you would like when you make your purchase, and include the extra $89 in your payment if ordering Option 2.
